Eddie Lacy had a rough start to the season, but he's been a star for fantasy teams lately. On the off-chance you're counting on him in Week 15, you might need a backup plan.
Lacy left the Falcons game late with a hip injury, and although it was viewed as precautionary, there's some doubt whether he'll be available in Week 15. "It depends on how the rest of the week goes," Lacy said. "I’m progressing still. But there’s still some things that need to be figured out."
What's clear is that if Lacy does miss the game, James Starks might be almost as good. Starks hasn't been quite as effective as Lacy (4.1 yards per carry compared to 5.1), but he looked very solid against Atlanta, and if he starts he'd probably lose less work to DuJuan Harris than Lacy was losing to him.
Starks filled in for an injured Lacy in Week 1 at Seattle, carrying 7 times for 37 yards (5.3). He also ran well against a great Detroit run defense in Week 3 (8 for 38, 4.8) and against Atlanta's softer group last week (10 for 75, 7.5).
Perhaps somebody has snapped up Starks already, but grab him if not.
