If you think you know who the Cowboys starting and lead running back will be against the Giants on Sunday, congratulations! Could you let one of them know?
According to this story in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys haven't decided who their starting running back will be.
"We won’t outline anything before the game,” Jason Garrett said. “We’ll give each of those guys a chance over the course of the week to show us that they’re worthy of opportunities.”
It could be Joseph Randle, or it could be Darren McFadden. Far less likely it will be Christine Michael, just acquired a few days ago, or Lance Dunbar, but you can't officially rule it out, either.
Probably at least 3 of these players were drafted or added in every league. If you have one of them, the strong advice is to leave them on your bench and see how things shake out.
But who knows? Maybe the Cowboys will make up their mind and name someone the starter by Friday. That would be helpful, although even that wouldn't guarantee that player would be featured. Or stay healthy the whole game. Or....
