Question

What four teams have had two different players with the same last name run for over 1,000 yards in a season? None of these are easy. One team comes from the AFC East, with the backs separated by 24 years. All three of the other teams were once in the same division. With one, a back did it in 1981 but was traded in 1984 for another running back (who had 3 more 1,000-yard seasons). With the third team, you’re looking at the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, with the backs combining for 7 seasons of 1,000 yards. With the final team, each back had only one 1,000-yard season (1992 and 2007).

Answer

Cleveland (Greg Pruitt and Mike Pruitt).
Cincinnati (Pete Johnson and Rudi Johnson). Pete Johnson was traded to San Diego for James Brooks.
Miami (Delvin Williams and Ricky Williams)
Oilers/Titans (Lorenzo White and LenDale White)
