Question

The Rams on Monday fired Jeff Fisher, who was three weeks short of completing seven seasons without a winning record. Who are the only two head coaches in league history who had seven such (complete) seasons? They both spent time as the head coach of the same franchise, and they both also coached one other team. Unlike Fisher, neither of these other coaches ever even had a .500 season.

Answer

Marion Campbell and Dan Henning. Henning coached Atlanta and San Diego, for seven years. Campbell coached Atlanta, Philadelphia and then Atlanta again, with six full seasons and three partial seasons. Dick Jauron had seven straight losing seasons (with five being full seasons and two being partial seasons).
