Question
Who’s the only player in NFL history with over 7,000 career rushing yards despite running for over 1,000 yards in a season only once?
Answer
Jonathan Stewart, recently released by Carolina. Don Perkins, who played with Dallas in the ‘60s, finished his career with 6,217 rushing yards, the most of anyone with no 1,000-yard seasons. One other player went over 6,000 career yards with just one 1,000-yard season – Michael Vick.
