Davante Adams isn’t playing on Monday night, and it’s looking iffy whether he’ll be on the field in Week 7. He’s got a turf toe injury, and he didn’t practice at all during the week.
The Packers will use Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison and Jake Kumerow in most three-receiver sets, but those guys were underwhelming last week. Aaron Rodgers went only 4 of 12 when throwing to them, for 55 yards. That included an underthrown ball that could have been a long touchdown to Valdes-Scantling. Allison saw a team-high 6 targets but caught only 2 passes for 28 yards.
If the Packers switch things up and start passing more, some chance these guys have some value. Green Bay went after Philadelphia’s pass defense pretty aggressively. But the passing game has been underwhelming in all four of their other games.
The Packers are at home this week against Detroit. Next week they host the Raiders.
Green Bay also has ruled out safety Darnell Savage and tight end Robert Tonyan.
Detroit will play without former Packer Mike Daniels (foot).
The Lions list Danny Amendola (chest) and T.J. Hockenson (concussion) as questionable, but those guys should be ready to play. Hockenson has practiced fully the last two days. Amendola has been a limited participant in practice all week.
As part of the Saturday injury report, other teams have made some minor adjustments. Seattle ruled out center Ethan Pocic, for example. But the most notable name, Alvin Kamara remains unchanged. Had Kamara (ankle) not traveled with New Orleans to Jacksonville, they would have ruled him out. Kamara is still listed as questionable, and it’s looking like he’ll play. Those planning on starting Kamara should watch the inactives on Sunday morning, but Kamara should be playing. If you had to lock in on your starting lineup right now, you should assume Kamara is playing, and that Latavius Murray will be limited to something similar to his usual change of pace role.
