The Monday night teams have released their injury listings, and Adam Thielen is the most notable name. The Vikings say it’s not a certainty that Thielen will play.
The standout receiver, according to the team, was only a limited participant in practice all week. They’re listing him as questionable. Thielen injured his hamstring in Week 7 and hasn’t played since aggravating the injury against the Lions in Week 9.
No way to know for sure, but this could be a smokescreen – some kind of attempt by Minnesota to make it harder for Seattle’s defense to prepare. Thielen has been down for a month, and chances are he’s ready to return in pretty much his usual role. On the downside, Thielen hasn’t truly tested his hamstring, and the game will be played in cooler weather on Monday night.
For those with Thielen on their fantasy rosters, if you have a comparable wide receiver, it would be reasonable to plug in the other guy. But if there’s a big drop down from Thielen down to Door #2, probably best to just put Thielen out there and let him do his thing – he’s likely fine.
Seattle calls Jadeveon Clowney (core) questionable. He’s expected to play.
