Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor drew some flak when he dropped the ball before crossing the end zone during their Week 15 game against the Denver Broncos. That costly error turned the momentum around, allowing Denver to win.
A week after that blunder, Taylor bounced back with a monumental stat line, finishing with 29 carries for 218 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor earned his first touchdown in the second quarter, taking the ball to the house for 65 yards. Instead of dropping the ball, he held it with two hands, even if he was already across the goal line.

Taylor added two more scores in the third quarter. He had a 70-yard touchdown run in the first play of the second half. His third touchdown was a one-yard run that extended their lead to 30, 37-7. The Colts needed all Taylor’s touchdowns to defeat the Tennessee Titans 38-30.
More importantly, the victory kept the Colts’ playoff hopes alive. While they are still two games behind seventh-seed Denver, Indianapolis gets to fight another day, hoping to enter the postseason.
