The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one win away from the NFC playoffs. While other players like Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans get most of the spotlight, rookie running back Bucky Irving deserves much recognition. The Buccaneers took Irving in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. As it turned out, it was a wise decision made by General Manager Jason Licht.
Through 16 games, the former Oregon standout has 188 carries for 1,033 yards and seven touchdowns. He had 152 and 113 yards in his two games against the Carolina Panthers. His third 100-yard game came against the Los Angeles Chargers, tallying 15 carries for 117 yards.
