KEVIN ENGLISH

Drake London, WR, Falcons: Through two games, London has just 6 catches for 80 scoreless yards. Poor QB play has been a major factor, with Cooper Rush ranking last among 32 qualifiers in Pro Football Reference's on-target rate (60.5%). Michael Penix takes over in Week 3, giving London's fantasy outlook an immediate boost. London finished as a top-12 fantasy WR in five of Penix's nine starts last season.

HOWARD BENDER

Justin Herbert -- It's been painful so far, but it's a new system with new play-calling and different motion that Herbert isn't quite used to just yet. I think the Chargers, on the whole, turn things around and I wouldn't be surprised to see Herbert have a fantastic game and give the Bills a scare on Sunday. There's just too much talent on this team to be this bad all year.

SCOTT SACHS

Saquon Barkley has been a tremendous disappointment through the first two weeks. His single digit performance last week was due to a shoulder stinger, so he should be good to go this week. The next 6 of 7 games, before their bye week, features non-elite defensive matchups. The Eagles have been throwing a bit more, but a return to a more balanced pass/run mix is the key to their success. Barkley is a great "buy low" trade target at present, but it probably won't last.

JASON WOOD

I'll go with Joe Burrow, who is sitting outside the Top 20 at the position through two weeks, although the Bengals are now 2-0; a rarity unto itself. I think the Bengals defense being better actually makes Burrow an easy buy low because Zac Taylor is going to have more advantageous game scripts to work with. Ja'Marr Chase whiffed in Week 1 but looked to be his vintage self this week, and there's nothing in Burrow's history (other than injury) to suggest he isn't a top-3 pocket passer. He'll start having his vintage games soon, and end up a rock-solid fantasy QB1.

IAN ALLAN

I'm not giving up on those sputtering Chicago pass catchers -- Loveland, Burden, Odunze. I believe in Ben Johnson; I think he knows how to scheme up an offense. Even with Caleb Williams missing a few games, I'm expecting that passing game to come around. In the game Sunday, the passing game was arguably slightly better after Tyson Bagent took over; he connected on a couple of throws. I would not be looking to trade away any of those receivers at this moment. I'd be more inclined to remain hopeful that they'll be coming around.

TONY HOLM

There are a few players to not give up on yet, like Dallas wide receiver George Pickens. For me though, it’s Arizona rookie running back Jeremiyah Love that fantasy managers need to be patient with. It takes half a season to learn just the blocking schemes and blitz protection packages, give him a few weeks, as once Arizona can hand him the ball repeatedly, they will.

TOM KESSENICH

I'm going with Terry McLaurin. First, he's passing the eyeball test for me. I don't see any meaningful signs of slippage in his game. He doesn't appear to be showing serious signs of decline in his play. Most importantly, the Commanders are still utilizing him in key spots on the field. He had 3 endzone targets in Week 2 vs. the Cowboys. Granted, he had one drop but he had one touchdown overturned by penalty and should've had another score if Antonio Williams had thrown a decent pass since he was wide open in the end zone.

So it stands to reason with any type of positive regression he should begin to show more production soon. Losing Jayden Daniels is somewhat of a concern, but McLaurin has produced well with Marcus Mariota so that mitigates some of the concern there. If you're in a trading league, this would seem like a good time to buy low for a player who has always produced a solid floor, especially given the massive amount of WR injuries we're currently dealing with.

WR Drake London and TE Kyle Pitts will both be fantasy-relevant again with QB Michael Penix starting this week.

We have to leave the light on for Drake London. The Atlanta target tree is especially narrow, and London has produced with returning QB Michael Penix in the past. Maybe you don't remember subscribing to the Atlanta Falcons package, but they're on prime time for three straight weeks. London can help make that tolerable.

ANDY RICHARDSON

We just saw with the Rams how much difference one week can make. I don't know if that's going to happen with offenses like Pittsburgh, Chicago and Tennessee, but it's a reminder that it can, and sometimes players and systems need another week or two. Colston Loveland, Luther Burden, Wan'Dale Robinson, and a host of Steelers; I'm not saying it's going to happen, but a couple of weeks that include some tough matchups and really unpleasant weather are not the time to be kicking all these guys to the curb in favor of some one-week performer who might disappear a week from now. I'll go with the Bears as an offense that can still get better, if Caleb only misses a game or two at most, with Loveland returning to form.
