Sunday morning injury updates

Coker unlikely to play

The Sunday morning injury reports are filtering in, here's what being said so far by some of the national reporters.

  • Carolina elevated a receiver from the practice squad Saturday, hinting they may be without Jalen Coker (quad). They definitely won’t have Xavier Legette, on IR, but he’s not the guy you wanted to start. Adam Schefter is reporting that Coker is unlikely to play. Tetairoa McMillan will be heavily targeted, and Darren Waller might see a few more. The other wide receiver to perhaps consider is Brycen Tremayne. He had a good game last week. John Metchie is the other possibility. I don’t want to get too crazy on Tremayne, but in PPR I’d be considering him in the Jakobi Meyers area.

  • A weather note. Lions-Panthers in Charlotte will likely be dealing with rainy conditions during the game. Game should be higher scoring, but that could temper offenses a little.

  • Zay Flowers (hamstring) is expected to play. Would use as ranked.

  • Terry McLaurin officially inactive. That London game kicks off shortly.

  • Ladd McConkey (foot) is expected to play.

  • Conflicting reports on Puka Nacua. One suggested limited snaps, another said he’d have no limitations. The latter was Schefter. I would use Puka.

  • Keenan Allen is out. Colts will be throwing to Josh Downs, Tyler Warren, and probably Laquon Treadwell (first two the recommended ones).

  • Mike Evans (rib) plans to try to play. Risky, and limited snaps might happen. In TD-only, maybe I’d think about Evans.

If I see anything else notable before the early games kick off, I'll post in the comments below. Good luck today.
