Happy Julio Year in Super League

Follow the Falcons in Week 17

It's really hard to win this competition. One bad week kind of does you in. I had mine last weeks, slipping to 28th overall. I'm toast, considering there is only one week left. All I can do is put together a big week and maybe climb up into the top 20.

Here's my Week 17 lineup.

Quarterbacks: Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. Dueling quarterbacks. What the heck. These teams aren't going to play any defense in this game.

Running Backs: Devonta Freeman and DeAngelo Williams. Freeman, as noted above, faces the Saints. Williams faces the Browns. I'm considering Adrian Peterson and Matt Forte, veterans with either something to play for, or saying goodbye.

Wide Receivers: Julio Jones, Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr. Jones will put up big numbers, I have no concerns about going too Falcon-heavy. Brown, ditto. Beckham, assuming he doesn't pick any fights in pre-game warmups, will romp through the Eagles laughable defense all day long.

Tight ends: Rob Gronkowski and Greg Olsen. They're good, their teams need a win, the wideouts aren't all that.

Kickers: Chandler Catanzaro and Stephen Gostkowski. Kickers on high-scoring winners.

Trying to remember who the top defenses are. Oh yeah, New England and Arizona. Doubt Seattle will field an actual team, and for the Dolphins, that's par for the course.

Good luck to the rest of you.

"One bad week kind of does you in." Yeah, one week I forgot to enter, oops.

I missed a half week. Put in a lineup after two thirds of the week's games had started. Fortunately, I think there was a good game or two left on the slate, so the damage wasn't too severe.

I didn't put a lineup in for week 1 until Monday. Fortunately there were two games that first Monday night, so I was able to pick players from four teams. I ended up with 125 points that week and was in 175th place after week 1. I have worked my way up to 46th and will try to crack the top 40 this week.

One year I forgot to start a week 1 lineup until Monday night, and had to choose all my players from the two games on tap. Still finished top 40, so there's that.

Did you all give kudos for the best team names this season? Maybe I missed it.
Thanks for all of the hard work yet again. I am struggling to crack the top 100, but as always, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
