The other day I posted a table showing the number of touchdowns allowed by each team to wide receivers since the start of last season. Now the table showing touchdowns to tight ends. Not surprisingly (since we mention it every week), Detroit is terrible in this regard, making Julius Thomas a great option this week.
At the other end of the spectrum are Baltimore and Kansas City. They've allowed only 4 TDs to tight ends since the start of last season. So maybe not a great week to use Jason Witten (who faces the Ravens) or Cameron Brate (at Kansas City), at least in terms of scoring. Doesn't mean they won't catch some passes, but tough spot for touchdowns.
