Index Bets - Week 4 available now

Points galore in Bills-Dolphins

We're cruising into Week 4 of our fledgling wagering publication, Index Bets. The math works out to about $5 a pop for each week, published each Thursday, and the next month (or the whole season) are available for purchase at the Fantasy Index Store right now.

Each week, I sift through the player values, prop bets and over-under projections at FanDuel and DraftKings and compare them with the projections in Fantasy Index Weekly. In Index Bets, I select about two dozen of my favorite -- and least favorite -- bets of the week. Overs, unders, over-unders; whatever looks like the best spot to sink some money into and, ideally, turn it into more money.

Feedback has been positive, and the hit rate has been good -- about 65-70 percent. Last week the hits included five different players from the Chargers-Vikings game. Misses, well, I wasn't high enough on Geno Smith and DK Metcalf. But a good week all-around.

The other component to the weekly product is identifying good (and bad) values for FanDuel and DraftKings lineup type games; players with low prices who should perform like top options, or high prices who won't be worth it.

BEST BETS

A week after the Dolphins scored 70 points against Denver and the Bills scored 37 at Washington, the over-under for their game is 53.5. That’s high, but not high enough for these two teams. They played late last season and the Bills won 32-29. They also met in last year’s playoffs and the Bills won 34-31. Take the over. Also in that game, while the passing props are set accordingly and pretty high, the rushing and receiving props look a little low. Raheem Mostert has an over-under of 52.5. Buffalo will be more concerned about the passing game....

This report is just a small snippet of the Week 4 edition of Index Bets. The newsletter includes about two dozen similar recommendations for this weekend; monthly or full-season pricing works out to just $5 week. If you're in a state that allows it, happy betting!
