PFF Writer Declares Ravens TE and S Duos as NFL's Best

Pro Football Focus’ Gordon McGuinness hailed the Baltimore Ravens for having the best duos in two positions. He wrote that no NFL tandem is better than Ravens tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Meanwhile, safeties Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton earned the same regard.

While various injuries limited Andrews to ten games last season, he still finished with 45 receptions, 544 receiving yards, and six touchdowns. Those numbers are still good for an 80 overall PFF grade. On the other hand, Likely was impressive while filling in for Andrews, tallying 411 yards and five touchdowns in 17 games. His emergence gives Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken to dial up two tight-end sets.

Conversely, Williams missed six games last season but finished with 55 tackles, eight passes defended, and an interception. PFF gave him a 71.7 overall grade and a 73.1 coverage grade for 2023.

Finally, Hamilton earned a First-Team All-Pro selection in his second NFL season, tallying 81 tackles, 13 pass deflections, four interceptions, and three sacks. PFF awarded this former Notre Dame standout an 84.7 overall grade, an 88.8 coverage mark, and 92.7 in the pass rush.

These four players will be vital to the Ravens’ success as they try to improve from their 2023 finish. In doing so, Baltimore will reach its first Super Bowl since 2012.
