Matt Milano Out Indefinitely Due To Torn Bicep

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted that Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano will be out indefinitely after dealing with a torn bicep injury that will require surgery. That operation has him potentially returning by December.

The bicep injury is another setback to Milano's career after becoming a First-Team All-Pro member in 2022. Last season, a leg injury ended his season after five games. He might be back this year if the Bills make the AFC playoffs.

Milano's All-Pro selection is a testament to his consistency throughout his NFL career. He had 78 tackles in 13 games in his second season (2018) and had 101 the following year. However, while he has been one of the league's best linebackers, he hasn't completed a season since his rookie year. In addition to his injury-shortened 2022 and 2023 seasons, he also missed six games in 2020 due to a pectoral injury.

Milano has 488 tackles, 10.5 sacks, ten interceptions, and three forced fumbles in seven seasons. With Milano sidelined, Dorian Williams and Edefuan Ulofoshio might see increased playing time at weak-side linebacker once the season starts.
