After dominating the Houston Texans on Christmas Day, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens became the AFC North division leaders. In addition to inching closer to a Wild Card Round home game, Jackson owned a piece of the NFL record books after becoming the all-time rushing yards leader among quarterbacks.
Jackson finished the game against Houston with 87 rushing yards, enough to give him 6,110 career rushing yards. That’s a yard more than Michael Vick’s 6,109, which he accumulated through 15 seasons. Meanwhile, Jackson overtook Vick’s count in 41 fewer games.

The quarterback from Louisville is having an MVP-worthy season. While the Ravens still have one regular season game left, he has already established career highs in total yards (4,807), touchdowns (43), completion percentage (67.9), and passer rating (121.6). Likewise, Jackson only has four interceptions through 16 games.
Jackson and the Ravens will host the Cleveland Browns in their regular season finale. While the Browns are already out of playoff contention, a victory for the Ravens will clinch the third seed in the AFC playoffs for them. Based on the current playoff picture, that placement could have them hosting either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Denver Broncos.
