The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will meet in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. While both teams have new players, they will wear the same jersey colors they used in Super Bowl LVII. For those who don’t remember, the Eagles wore their green jerseys while the Chiefs wore white.
However, based on prevailing trends over the last 20 Super Bowls, the Chiefs might have an edge over the Eagles. The Sunday Night Football on NBC account on X/Twitter pointed out that 16 of the last 20 Super Bowl champions wore white jerseys. While the Chiefs won against the Eagles, they are also part of the exception after wearing a red jersey during their Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Sportsbooks have the Chiefs as slight favorites to become the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles. However, the Eagles are not an easy out as general manager Howie Roseman has built a formidable roster in one offseason.
